Norlux expands engineering tools
Carol Stream, IL - Norlux announced today that it has expanded its engineering tools with TracePro software, by Lambda Research Corporation.
TracePro is award winning software for illumination design and analysis, LCD backlight design, optical system analysis, stray light analysis, baffle design for stray light suppression in telescopes and other optical systems, and analysis of many other types of optical and illumination systems. TracePro is used througout the world and is know for its easy-to-use interface, versatile, accurate, and complete optical analysis features, and strong data exchange capability with CAD software.
Paul Kolenda, Nolux Project Engineer, is expecting instant benefits from TracePro for Norlux customers: "TracePro will benefit both Norlux and our customers by giving us the capability to simulate the light output, optical performance and photorealistic appearance of a conceptual design before moving to the prototype stage of a project." We will be able to "reduce or eliminate iterations in the prototype phase by giving our engineers the capability to test the design concept in a virtual environment" and "reduce the cost and time associated with prototyping numerous concepts."
TracePro is just one way Norlux continues to add resources throughout its design and manufacturing capabilities in an effort to stay 'ahead of the curve.'
