Carol Stream, IL – Bob Campbell joined Norlux in March as the Chief Operating Officer. He began his career at Philips-Dunlee as a Manufacturing Engineer making medical X-Ray tubes. Bob held several roles at Dunlee including Manufacturing Engineering Manager and International Business Development Manager. A highlight of his 13 years with Dunlee was the specification and construction of a $25M manufacturing facility currently operating in Aurora, IL.
Prior to joining Norlux, Bob worked for TouchSensor Technologies LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Methode Electronics. TouchSensor is a specialized user interface provider to customers like Kohler, Electrolux, GE, Whirlpool, and Coca-Cola. TouchSensor was recognized as a Deloitte "Technology Fast 50" growth business and received the KPMG Illinois High Tech Award. Bob enjoyed an 11-year tenure at TouchSensor, first as VP of Operations and the last 5 years as General Manager. He led the business to the largest single program award ever with the recent announcement of an appliance industry mega-launch estimated at over $100M.
Bob has an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Business. He holds 4 patents in x-ray and touch technology and serves as Secretary for the Prairie Chapter of the AVS, a member society of the American Institute of Physics. Bob is married with three children and enjoys time with his family. He is an avid runner and cyclist who occasionally commutes to work by bike.
