Bruce Rhodes joins Norlux as Director of Engineering

Carol Stream, IL – Norlux announced today that Bruce Rhodes has accepted the position of Director of Engineering.  Bruce has worked most of his career in new product development related to power conversion products.  After earning his BS, MS, and ScD degrees in electrical engineering at MIT, he also completed the Executive MBA program at Northwestern University.  He also holds four patents related to power conversion technology.

Bruce worked 14 years for two uninterruptible power supply companies and an additional 13 years in the lighting industry serving as Director of Quality and Manufacturing for two electronic ballast companies. At Philips Lighting Electronics (formerly Advance Transformer), Bruce was Director of Electronics Development and Technical Manager for the fluorescent ballast global product team. Bruce’s technical interest lies in power conversion, which he enjoys because it requires expertise in divergent areas.
